Texas Fertility, P.A.

IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) Costs

When patients ask "How much?" they usually are referring to how much do they have to pay. This depends on the details of each person's insurance policy. Determination of insurance coverage for infertility is a very confusing ordeal, even for many insurance companies. For this reason, we have an insurance specialist who will work with you to uncover every penny you are entitled to have covered.

Additionally, we will file your insurance for you if we participate on your insurance plan. Texas Fertility, P.A. () accepts most insurance policies and participates with major HMO's and PPO's. Please call our insurance specialist if you have any questions. (972) 315-9245

If Your Insurance Excludes Infertility
and All Related Expenses:

At Texas Fertility, P.A. the expected cost of IVF is $9,000. This covers office visits, injection training, estrogen and ultrasound monitoring, hospital retrieval costs, 6 months of embryo freezing, lab fertilization expenses, hospital transfer costs and physician services. ICSI, if necessary, warranted and desired, is an extra $750. None of these costs include medication.

A major cost of each cycle is medication. The range of medication costs is between $1,500 and $4,000 per cycle, with an average cost about $2,700. We strongly recommend you shop around for the best price. Costs can vary tremendously, even for the same medication.
